    Whenever I’m attending any kind of music conference there’s one thing I’m curious about most: How many musicians are to be found at this event? How many of you are attending the seminars, workshops and lectures on schedule? Some events are well-attended by musicians… though the majority is not. Why?

  • Free Music Archive Hosts all2gethernow Compilation of Creative Commons Music

    I told you, we soon would change the main host for the files – due to GEMA (Germany’s collecting society). Hosting the files myself would make my blog a shop – even if the download’s for free. Plus I would have to report the hosting to GEMA, despite the fact it’s all Creative Commons music. It’s crazy but it’s a fact. And here we are!

  • all2gethernow 2010 wants your feedback!

    The full programme featuring seven theme tracks can still be found online. We are working on the documentation right now and got some marvellous feedback. Taking place for the second year now, the Berlin music conference has changed its face in many ways. There are some issues to work on, some new concepts to keep, and a few ideas from 2009 which should be revived.

    Know what: I f***ing hate having no web in train. For four hours. Four hours I could have been working. Ok. I give up. I’m playing around with my my cell phone now to tweet… then again – it’s no iPhone (and I really wish I would have one). But no, not available with any plan at Vodafone. So I’m still using my old Sony Ericsson P1i. 4 chars on 1 key. Great.

    The concept was to create an event for the creative people. For consumers. For social media geeks. For IT people. For anyone whose interested in discussing the changes in music and culture. It was intended to be a convention for anyone to collectively work on the current situation – all2gethernow. It’s great to get people from different sides talking to each other.
